| Our Approach: |
| |
eMerchantTech.com offers
an advanced store solution that allows you to create and manage
your online store. We have designed a flexible pricing structure
to accomodate the varying needs of different online businesses.
Our approach is straight-forward. You decide which features
you want in your store, and you pay only for the actual data
that is utilized at your site. In the backend manager, you
have complete control over this data. There are no
commission fees (eg. % of your sales).
If you are a start-up business with a limited budget,
you can choose to utilize only the basic features of the store
platform to keep your costs to a minimum. On the other hand,
if you are a larger-sized business, you might want to utilize
some of our more sophisticated web tools. For example, it
may be important to your business to analyze conversion rates,
the percentage of visitors that place an item in the cart
to those that actually complete the purchase. This data, called
"Historical Shopping Cart Data," is a premium service
with additional costs.
We are different than other online store solutions,
where a one-size-fits-all mentality predominates. We believe
that our approach allows us to have a better working relationship
with our store owners. Here's how.
 |
| |
 |
We care about the ongoing satisfaction
of our existing store owners. If a new feature
is implemented that you don't utilize, you
don't pay for it. |
 |
We have created an environment where we
work in cooperation with our store owners
to develop new features. The continual growth
of this store platform is mutually beneficial.
This allows us to have a partnership-like
relationship with our store owners where we
strive to provide you with the tools to help
you run a successful online business. |

If you have any questions about our pricing structure,
please feel free to submit an inquiry
or email us. |
| Set-up Fees |
| |
There are no set-up fees. |
| General Fees |
| |
Baseline Rate |
| |
The baseline rate is divided into two tiers.
It is currently based on whether or not your site implements
a customer registration feature. This allows your customer the
option of having their own login and password along with a stored
address book (no credit card info is stored). It is a requirement
if you sell wholesale or need a password-restricted page. Other
differences in the two tiers will be implemented such as an
upcoming optional affiliates function. You can always switch
from one tier to the other at any time.

| Data-Related Fees |
| |
Per Item Fee |
| |
The first 100 items are free. Above 100
items, there is a 5 cent per item fee charged monthly. Each
day the system computes the number of products stored in your
product database. The average value at the end of the billing
period is used to assess this fee. |
| |
Per Order Fee |
| |
There is a 1 cent per order fee charged
monthly for all orders stored at the database. You can add,
change, and delete orders.
You may keep orders in your backend manager for as long as you'd
like. Each day the system computes the total number of orders
stored in your order database. The average value at the end
of the billing period is used to assess this fee. |
| |
Per Customer Fee |
| |
There is the optional feature to allow your
customers to register at your store to store their addresses.
If you choose to use the customer database, there will be a
1 cent per customer fee charged monthly. If you have 1000 customers,
that's only an additional $10 per month. Each day, the system
computes the number of customer records. The average value at
the end of the billing period is used to assess this fee. If
you do not use the customer registration functions, then there
are no fees. |
| |
Per Cart Fee |
| |
You have three options when it comes
to storing shopping cart data.
| 1.) |
Elect to have the shopping cart cleared when the
customer leaves your store. In this case, there
are no additional charges. |
| 2.) |
You may determine how long the cart is stored
before it is automatically deleted (eg. 5 hours,
3 days, 10 days, etc). This will make it convenient
for your customers who return to your site at a
later time because their shopping cart will be saved
for them. |
| 3.) |
You may elect to save all cart data and delete
the data whenever you want from your store manager.
This will allow you to see exactly what products
were placed in those abandoned carts. And, depending
on your privacy policy, you will be able to see
exactly what your registered customers did, including
how many times they came back to the site, what
they placed in their cart, etc. |
|
There is a 1 cent per cart fee charged monthly for all carts
stored at the database. If you elect either option 2 or 3
above, you will be charged for the storage of the cart data.
Each day, the system computes the number of carts stored at
the abandoned carts database. The average value at the end
of the billing period is used to assess this fee. |
| |
Bandwidth |
| |
Each store is allotted a generous 1GB of
bandwidth (that's 1000 MB!) before any additional charges are
incurred. This greatly exceeds the needs of most small to medium-sized
businesses. For stores with a very high level of traffic, there
is a charge of $5/month for every 50 MB above that limit. It
is exceedingly rare to have any bandwidth charges. |
